【National Palace Museum】

【Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall】
The Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall (中正紀念堂) is a historic landmark and cultural site in Taipei, Taiwan, dedicated to Chiang Kai-shek, the former President of the Republic of China. It was inaugurated in 1980 to honor his leadership and contributions to Taiwan’s modern history.
The memorial hall is a white, octagonal structure with a blue-tiled roof, symbolizing freedom, justice, and democracy. It stands within a spacious park featuring beautiful gardens, ponds, and pavilions. A grand 89-step staircase leads to the main hall, representing Chiang's age at the time of his passing. Inside, visitors can see a large bronze statue of Chiang Kai-shek, where a ceremonial guard-changing ritual takes place hourly.
The surrounding Liberty Square (自由廣場) is a popular gathering place and is flanked by the National Concert Hall and National Theater, making it a cultural hub for performances and events. Fort San Domingo (Red Hair Castle)

Entry fees, lunch and transportation are covered in your tour registration fee. However, the dinner is not included. If you would like to have meals at your own expense or need suggestions, please discuss with the tour guide.

1. | The schedule and itinerary may be changed due to unpredictable factors such as traffic and weather. |
2. | The reservation will be automatically cancelled if no payment is received by March 25th, 2025. |
3. | A minimum of 8 people is required to operate a tour. If the minimum is not reached, the tour will be cancelled and a noticed with method of refund will be sent to the registrants from April 1st, 2025. |

5. | If the attraction is invisible due to weather conditions, the tour will not be canceled and fees will not be refunded. |
6. | Participants should follow the tour guide’s instructions; HEF and the tour guide are not responsible for participants’ leave without notice and personal activities. |
7. | The tour bus will not wait for any personal excuse. If you do not show up on time, the bus won’t wait for you. No refunds will be issued in any case. |
